“ This place is amazing! The food, the service, the friendly welcome from the family that owns this place all just outstanding! My husband and I tried the mortadella pistachio sandwich special and picked out a box full of delicious super fresh pastries they bake their bread and pastries fresh three timesday. This food is as Authentic Italian as you can get, the family is from Italy and they import all of their ingredients from Italy, as well. If youre looking for an amazing Authentic Italian food experience, you NEED to try this place youll be so happy you did. “ Ciao Napoli! True story....I went to a meeting and had to urgently find a gas station. Not big deal. When I was leaving I stumbled to a sign calling me ITALIAN BAKERY. That was a call. An Italian bakery in San Diego!!! I had to check. It literally my day. So much so, I came back next day and I can guarantee you, I will always come back. The entire family was there. A family owned business of authentic delicious Italian pastries. Was even emotional because they make a pastrie called sfogliatella that was my grandmas favorite. With just a simple google search, we truly lucked out by coming across Dolce Aroma Bakery in Carlsbad. We decided to give it a go. The owners were beyond friendly not to mention, very welcoming. The food was magnificent! After finishing our lunch, I decided to get another very authentic baguette sandwich to take home to each of my family members along with some pastries. I wish it werent so far from my home as I live down in San Diego. What I do know is that, when I do find myself up in north county SD, I will be going out of my way to treat myself to a visit to Dolce Aroma Bakery!! “ Authentic Italian Bakery! How did I miss this place?! So unassuming, hole in the wall bakery tucked in the corner of a shopping plaza. The pictures speak for themselves. Delicious and authentic. Dont come here expecting American style pastries or sandwiches. Its amazing and the quality is there! Ive been to Italy, husband is from France so his expectations are always high when its an European bakery. He loved the Italian sandwich and Italian ham especially. As for the prices, its on par with the quality, did I hear imported Italian flour?! Yes. Italian family owned bakery where you hear them speaking Italian? Yes. Cute Italian mom and dad hanging out in the bakery? Yes. You cant get more authentic than that. My new favorite local bakery. ”
